Individual Registration:
The first step in ordering your .ie domain name is to check if it is available. You can do this by checking its availability on our website.
Once the domain is available, add it to your cart. If you are registering it as an Individual, select Individual when asked to confirm the category of registration. You can then securely upload your required documentation to Fast Track your domain registration.
In order to register a .ie domain name in Ireland, you are required to show proof of your connection to Ireland. If you are registering the domain as an Individual, you will need to submit ONE of the following:
- Irish Passport
- Irish driving license/UK driving license (showing Northern Ireland address)
- Irish/Northern Irish bank statement showing an address on the island of Ireland
- Official college ID (from a college recognised by the Department of Education)
- Public Services Card
- Correspondence from the Irish Revenue Commission showing your PPS number
If you have previously registered a .ie domain, you are NOT required to submit further documentation. Please skip this step and leave a note on your order so we can Fast Track the registration of your domain.
