SmartHost Organisation .IE Requirements
In order to purchase a .IE domain, you must prove your connection to Ireland with the .IE Registry.
If you have selected Organisation in the billing system while purchasing your .IE from smarthost.ie, you will need to provide one of the following documents as proof of your connection to Ireland, depending on the category that suits your application:
- One of the documents listed in the Individual requirements for a member of the organisation in question.
- Irish /Northern Irish bank statement which shows an address in Ireland/Northern Ireland
School or Educational System:
- School Roll Number and possibly Admin contact details (name, address, phone number, email address) for a member of staff
- CHY Charity Number and possibly Admin contact details (name, address, phone number, email address) for a director/member of the charity
If you have purchased a .IE domain before, and wish to register the new .IE domain with the same owner details, you can confirm your existing .IE domain with your order which will make the process much quicker.
